From here on, all these services are going to be brought together under a single umbrella named Google Play. Now you can store all your Android apps, music, videos, eBooks, and what not, in a single cloud storage and access them across devices.
What ever you purchase through Google, be they books, music, movies, apps, all will be stored in your personal Google Play cloud storage account. And you can access them on your mobile phone, your tablet, PC, laptop, or some other Internet enabled device.
On the down side, the full service is not yet available in all the countries obviously due to licensing restrictions. For instance, people in USA can store music, movies, books and Android apps in Google Play. But those living in Canada and UK won't be able to store movies. And in Australia, people can store only books and apps; while the Japanese can store movies and apps. If you don't live in any of these affluent countries, then you can only store your Android Apps in Google Play.
